City to Celebrate Completion of Streetscape Third BlockCLEARWATER - City officials will celebrate the Cleveland Street Streetscape's third block completion with an opening ceremony, Friday, Oct. 5, 4:30 to 6 p.m., beginning on the sidewalk in front of the Atrium Building at Cleveland Street and Garden Avenue. Representatives from the city of Clearwater, Clearwater Downtown Development Board, Clearwater Main Street Program, and Gibbs & Register, Inc. will be on hand to lead the festivities. Entertainment will be provided. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, explore the newly completed block and support downtown businesses that are open during construction. Musical entertainment, bottles of specially marked water and other cool treats will be offered at the event. The Downtown Development Board will again be offering 250 chocolate bars with Buy-1-Get-1 Free coupons worth up to $6 at downtown eating establishments.
