Chapel-By-The-Sea Announces Adult Sunday School SeriesChapel-By-The-Sea is pleased to announce that the Adult Sunday School Series will begin in October with an exciting program. Have you ever wondered what "Christianity filtered through the lens of Chinese Buddhism and Taoism" would look like? Well, since you asked, Chapel-By-The Sea has found someone who wants to show you. Reverend Don Erickson will present a four-week series based on the book The Jesus Sutras written by Martin Palmer and published in 2001 by Balantine Books. He promises to share a "fascinating, rich and holistic Christianity which offers much to the West." The series will run for four weeks beginning on October 14th and ending on November 4th. Each topic will last an hour and be presented at 9 a.m. in the chapel conference room. Here is an overview of the series.
