Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin to Hold Art HarvestDUNEDIN - The Tampa Bay area's largest fall festival, Art Harvest, is just around the corner. Several hundred artists from all over the country will display their works on Saturday and Sunday, November 3rd and 4th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Highlander Park in Dunedin. Art Harvest's Children's Tent theme this year is Art as Inventor following an exhibition of the same name at the David L. Mason Children's Hands-On Museum inside the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. An original piece of metal by Featured Artist, Clayton Swartz, will be one of the items given away during an opportunity to win drawing on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. The piece will be on display the week before the show at the Dunedin Fine Art's Center and in front of the Information Booth on Art Harvest weekend. Magnificent saturated translucent colors, captivating formal abstractions, metal collages of biomorphic shape and form, can only begin to describe the work of artist Clayton Swartz. The rising artist's work can be seen at numerous galleries across Florida as well as many nationally ranked Art Festivals. The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin expects to raise at least $75,000 from the event. The money will help fund its various community projects and community outreach programs. Admission is free. Parking is $4 at the site and shuttle is available from the Causeway Plaza for $2 per person.
