Kids & Kubs Pre-Season Exhibition Opener Softball Game October 16th at Largo Sports ComplexLARGO - Take me out to the ballgame! Tuesday, October 16th, the Kids & Kubs will host their pre-season exhibition opener 10 a.m. at the Largo Sports Complex, 1640 McMullen Road in Largo. The game is free and open to the public. The Kids & Kubs, St. Petersburg's oldest softball team, are a celebrated team of 60 men ages seventy-five to ninety-plus who compete against each other and senior teams statewide from November to May. The team has been entertaining softball fans since 1930 with their fun-loving style of play and has contributed to dozens of charities throughout the area. Over the years they gave received lots of national media coverage both for the longevity of the team and its players as well as their charity work.
