Chapel-By-The-Sea Announces Adult Sunday School SeriesChapel-By-The-Sea is pleased to announce that the Adult Sunday School Series is holding an exciting program. Have you ever wondered what "Christianity filtered through the lens of Chinese Buddhism and Taoism" would look like? Well, since you asked, Chapel-By-The Sea has found someone who wants to show you. Reverend Don Erickson is presenting a series based on the book The Jesus Sutras written by Martin Palmer and published in 2001 by Balantine Books. He promises to share a "fascinating, rich and holistic Christianity which offers much to the West." The series will end on November 4th. Each topic will last an hour and be presented at 9 a.m. in the chapel conference room. Here is an overview of the series.
