Volunteers Sought to Jazz Up Downtown in Finale of Coastal CleanupCLEARWATER - Clearwater's Main Street program and Clearwater Community Volunteers, in conjunction with Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Inc., are seeking helpers to jazz up the Downtown Clearwater core with the finale of Keep Pinellas Beautiful Inc.'s annual Coastal Cleanup. The Saturday, Oct. 27 event at Clearwater City Hall, 112 S. Osceola Ave., begins at 8 a.m. and lasts until noon. A limited number of t-shirts will be distributed. Light refreshments will be available. Trash bags and litter grabbers will be provided. Part of a larger environmental initiative to remove debris and litter from the nation's coastlines, Coastal Cleanup is supported locally by eleven Pinellas County municipal governments and a number of commercial and public sponsors.
