SPCA Seeks Trainers for its Family Dog ProgramThe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tampa Bay seeks 30 dedicated volunteer dog trainers for its Family Dog Training Program. These people will have the opportunity to learn training methods implemented by some of the top trainers in the country at no cost. An intense, six-week, hands-on training will be followed by a commitment of volunteer hours. Trained volunteers will increase adoption rates by building a foundation for good behavior for homeless pets and assisting in behavior classes for the public.
