Annual Country Jubilee and Heritage Village's 30th Birthday CelebrationPinellas County's Heritage Village is celebrating two milestones on Saturday, Oct. 27. It is the 30th birthday of Heritage Village and it is its 30th Annual Country Jubilee. In honor of the Village's 30th birthday, descendants of pioneer families and guests with special affiliations to many of the historic buildings and structures will share their memories. Visitors can meet descendants of the McMullen and Coachman families at the log cabin that bears their name. They can also enjoy the parade of historic homes and watch traditional craft demonstrations. Dignitaries join the birthday festivities at 1 p.m. to help mark the important occasion. However, the fun doesn't stop with the birthday celebration. The highly popular 30th Annual Country Jubilee is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visitors can browse and shop among 125 craft artisans offering everything from quilts and soaps to paintings and seasonal crafts. Live country music will entertain, and vendors will food for purchase. Children's activities include face painting and crafts. The Country Jubilee is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Pinellas County Historical Society, which supports Heritage Village's educational programs, exhibits and more. Free event parking is available on 119th Street, between Ulmerton and Walsingham Roads, with a free shuttle to the event gate. Admission is free with donations accepted.
