(from left) Marian Justice, Margaret Mawhinney, Lynda Wainscott and Lorelei Keif of the Clearwater Historical Society are ready for the group's annual fish fry to begin at the Ross Norton Recreation Complex in Clearwater on November 3. Justice, Mawhinney and Wainscott had the duty of making and serving iced tea at the event. Keif was busy coordinating the many volunteers. Proceeds from the event are earmarked for maintenance of the historic Plumb House Museum. The Plumb House, built circa 1896, was once home to Clearwater's first paid public school teacher. It was formally dedicated as a permanent museum for the City of Clearwater in 1985.
