Humane Society of Pinellas Announces 2008 Holiday ScheduleThe Humane Society of Pinellas knows that this is a very busy time of year and they want to remind you about the following opportunities available to include the thousands of animals that are helped annually by Humane Society of Pinellas (HSP). Christmas Under the Oaks at Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater on Sunday, November 11, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. you will find Holiday Baskets available for sale. This annual tradition brings creative new gifts into the homes of animal lovers! Holiday Baskets will also be at the Kiwanis Arts & Craft Show in downtown Safety Harbor on December 9, Photo's With Santa - Saturday, November 24, kicks off the yearly Photo's With Santa at HSP. You will have photo opportunities for three weekends; 11/24-25, 12/1-2, and 12/8-9, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. You will be given the chance to be unique with the picture(s) taken as well as the ability to order cards, gift tags and other prints. Holiday Wreaths - Starting November 24, wreaths will be available for sale. These gorgeous wreaths are made from FRESH Noble Fir and accented with Cedar, blue berried Juniper and Ponderosa Pine Cones then shipped in refrigerated trucks for quality. Two sizes will be available for $30 and $40. Light The Way Home - On December 9, at 6 p.m., the 7th Annual Light The Way Home Ceremony will be held. This is a very heart warming opportunity! This is a time that HSP will "light" up the shelter with lights that are purchased in honor and memory of loved ones, both pets and people.
