Dunedin Youth Guild Announces 38th Annual Tour of HomesDUNEDIN - The 38th Annual Dunedin Youth Guild's Tour of Homes will be held on Saturday, December 1st. The theme for this year's event will be "It's a Wonderful Life . . . in Dunedin's Neighborhoods. Tours are scheduled from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and depart from the First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, 455 Scotland Street. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the tour. Advance tickets can be purchased at Dunedin City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society or at First Presbyterian Church. In addition to the tour itself, which features six homes located throughout the city of Dunedin that are decorated for the holidays, there is also complimentary tea in the church social hall. Participants are asked to bring a children's book to donate to one of Dunedin's schools. While at the tea, participants are invited to browse the handcrafted items in the group's Holiday Boutique. The Dunedin Youth Guild was incorporated in 1964 with the focus of serving the youth of the Dunedin area. It's two annual fundraisers, the Holiday Tour of Homes and the Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show, and other fundraising activities, have raised more than $500,000 for youth scholarships and programs since the group's inception.
