Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis SlatedTarpon Springs - The Arthritis Foundation will host its annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs on December 1. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with an 8 a.m. race start. The family-oriented events include 5K competitive run and 1-mile fitness walk and encourage communities to get into the holiday spirit. Participants wear jingle bells on their shoes as they walk/run. Prizes are to be given to the highest fundraiser and awards for the three fastest male and female runners in seven different age categories. All will enjoy free food and beverages after the run. Long sleeve race t-shirt are guaranteed with pre - registration. The race fee is $20 for early registrants and $25 on the day of the race with a $5 discount for students.
