Tampa Bay Republicans to hold Largest Presidential Straw Poll in FloridaManatee, Hillsborough Pasco and Pinellas County Republican's UniteThe Tampa Bay Republican Parties are proud to present the "Have your say in Tampa Bay straw poll and debate watch rally on November 28 at St Petersburg's Vinoy Park. "This will be the largest Presidential straw poll in the state of Florida. We are proud that St Petersburg is hosting the CNN YOUTUBE Republican Presidential Debate and invite all Republicans to come and vote in the straw poll," said Tony DiMatteo Pinellas County Republican Chairman. "Tampa Bay is the largest swing region of the biggest swing state in the nation; Republican's votes will count in our straw poll just like they will count on Primary Day. Presidential candidates will be able to gauge their strength in Florida through the results of this straw poll," said Pasco County Chairman Bill Bunting. "Have Your Say in Tampa Bay is a great example of how united the Republican's in Tampa Bay are right now. We are committed to a Republican victory in 2008. I'm looking forward to counting the votes," said Hillsborough County Chairman David Storck "Only one time since 1964 has the candidate that carried Florida not won the White House. You can't win Florida without winning Tampa Bay. This straw poll is being held in the epicenter of 2008 Presidential politics. Presidential campaigns will be using this straw poll as a measure of their ground game and overall support in Tampa Bay," observed Manatee County Chairman Kathleen King. Every Republican Presidential Campaign has been invited to address the crowd. Tickets are available now and cost $20. The Straw poll begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Each ticket entitles the holder to a BBQ dinner, bottled water and one vote. A giant screen television is being set up in Vinoy Park to watch the debate which begins at 8 p.m. Straw poll results will be announced before the debate begins. Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. No coolers or alcohol please. Tickets are available by calling Your County Party Headquarters.
