Seniors Find Volunteer Opportunities at Recent Fun Fairphotos/text by Sandi Fahy
Cricket Twombly, who has been a volunteer at the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary for the past four years, and Sanctuary gift shop manager Tim Anderson were caught on camera at the recent Senior Fun Fair at the Largo Community Center. They had come to talk to prospective volunteers about opportunities at the non-profit avian hospital and sanctuary which is located at 18328 Gulf Blvd. in Indian Shores. For more information on the facility, which is dedicated to the rescue, repair, rehabilitation and release of wild birds, call 391-6211.
