From European Fashion Runway to Love in the USACLEARWATER - On Wednesday, December 12, the Clearwater Christian Women's Club is hosting it monthly luncheon at the beautiful Cove Cay Country Club on the northeast corner of U.S. 19 and Haines Bayshore in Clearwater. Inspirational Elegance boutique will be presenting a style show of holiday fashions. Victoria Garcia, harpist, will be sharing her beautiful music with everyone. Rita Hinton, of Sarasota, will be the guest speaker. Rita was a high fashion model in Europe before coming to the United States. As tanks rumbled into her community she joined others in shouting "Russians Go Home." Her frightened mother told her never to speak out in public again. Rita has written several books about her fascinating life. Wife of a former professional baseball player and mother, she will share how her life has taken a new direction. All women are welcome. The club is not affiliated with any church or denomination. There are no dues or membership. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Free child care is available.
