Helen Hoskins conducts a floral design class at Clearwater Garden Club headquarters earlier this month. Hoskins is a National Garden Clubs and Florida Federation of Garden Clubs floral design instructor. The certified master flower show judge is also a long-time member of the American Guild of Flower Arrangers and Creative Designers of the Americas. Her designs have been seen in Florida Garden magazine. 
Members of the Garden Club of Largo learn more about native plants from Bruce Turley of Wilcox Nursery, at left above, during their meeting at The Barrington on November 12. At the time of the photo, Turley was discussing the merits of the blueberry plant, which is known to attract butterflies.
