Largo Police Department to Conduct Commercial Vehicle CheckpointThe Largo Police Department's is hosting a commercial vehicle checkpoint on Tuesday, December 4. The detail will run from 7 a.m. until noon. There will be a briefing at 6 a.m. The event will be held at the Largo Recycling Center at 1551 Starkey Road. The Largo Police Department is hosting a commercial vehicle checkpoint for the purpose of enforcing commercial vehicle safety regulations. Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Compliance Officers will be attending. Other participating agencies, under mutual aide, are the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Clearwater Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department and the Pinellas Park Police Department.
