
Illuminated Gardens Brighten HolidaysSee how more than 425,000 colorful lights can transform Florida Botanical Gardens into a holiday wonderland at its annual Illuminated Gardens display through Thursday, Jan. 3. The Gardens are all decked out in a blanket of glittering holiday lights that showcase the beauty of the plants and landscapes. Start a tradition with families, friends and visitors by strolling through the Gardens any night from 6 to 10 p.m. The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation is adding extra fun on Fridays for families at the Illuminated Gardens with Friday Nights and Garden Lights on Dec. 7, Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. Families will enjoy these free events that offer something a little different on each Friday. All donations will support the Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation.
To see the Gardens' beauty during daylight hours, be sure to sign up for a free Wetland Wildlife & Nature Tour Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 to 10 a.m. This tour will take nature lovers along a mulched path to learn about marsh, swamp and riverine ecosystems.
