
Historic Plumb House Museum Tours for DecemberCLEARWATER - The Clearwater Historical Society has announced new tour hours for the historic Plumb House Museum located at 1380 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue in Clearwater. Free tours will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Saturday during the month of December. The historic Plumb House, the home of Clearwater's first public school teacher for whom Plumb Elementary School is named, is an original crack-style house built in 1896. The Museum houses period furnishings, vintage photographic collections, artifacts and many documents and items of historical significance, including yearbooks from Clearwater High School and Clearwater Bombers uniforms and pictures.
