Scout Day at Brooker Creek Preserve Offers Merit Badge FunBoy Scouts, ages 11 through 17, can earn merit badges Saturday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brooker Creek Preserve in Tarpon Springs. Scouts can choose from two sessions, either Archeology or Environmental Studies, and Soil and Water Conservation. The Scout Day at Brooker Creek Preserve activities are designed to help scouts achieve hard-to-meet requirements for each of these merit badges. An adult or scout leader must accompany all scouts. Admission to the program is $5 per scout per badge. Registration is required by calling (727) 453-6800.
