Resource Center for Women Offers Free Workshop"Making the Most of your Holiday Dollars"The Resource Center for Women will hold a money management program, "Making the Most of your Holiday Dollars" on Thursday, December 18, from 12:30 p.m - 2 p.m. The workshop is free and open to the public (men and women). It will be held at the Suncoast Safety Council, 1145 Court St., Clearwater. Registration is required. Call RCW at 727-586-1110. The workshop will focus on the following money management topics: Setting up systems to pay bills on time, learning what to do when you can't pay cash and how to stretch your dollars. The classes are held in a comfortable, non-intimidating environment that encourages group discussion and interactive learning. The Resource Center for Women helps women in transition develop employment, personal and parenting skills that lead to self-sufficiency. RCW does this through life skills training, which includes programs in career development, personal guidance, money management, parenting classes and a computer lab.
