Abused and Neglected Children Need YouThe guardian ad litem program is recruiting volunteers for nearly 1,000 children and teens who were abused, abandoned or neglected and are in the family courts and the child welfare system. The average time needed is four to six hours a month. Thirty hours of training is required. The first class starts Jan. 8.
