SAR Installs Officers at Luncheon Meeting
The Clearwater Chapter of SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) installed new officers for the 2008 year at a luncheon meeting held December 7th at the Dunedin Country Club. Grant Wallin, the State SAR president, conducted the induction of the following officers: James S. Welch, president; George C. Pratt, 1st vp; James Massey, 2nd vp; Grant R. Wallin, secretary; Leon R. Hammock, Sr., treasurer; Robert F. Tanner, sergeant-at-arms; Charles H. Schafer, chaplain; A. Parks Honeywell, registrar/genealogist; David F. Kitchen, Jr. and Gene C. Brown, governors-at-large.
