
Clearwater Police Volunteer Receives Sertoma HonorCLEARWATER - The Sertoma Club honored Clearwater Police Department Volunteer Doris Krause by giving her the Service to Mankind Award on Thursday, December 6, at the Carlouel Yacht Club in Clearwater, In October, the National Association Citizens on Patrol (NACOP) named Krause the Citizen Patrol Volunteer of the Year. Krause has been a member of the CPD Citizen Volunteer Program since November 2001 serving on Park Patrol, Beach Patrol, and Homeland Security Patrol. Krause is also a member of the Quick Response Team, who assists with disasters, major crime scenes, or other incidents as needed. Krause is a 79-year-old retiree and a four-time cancer survivor. CPD is proud Krause is a part of the CPD Citizen Volunteer Program and thanks her for her dedication and hard work.
