World Renown African Children's Choir Visits Clearwater Beach's Chapel-By-The SeaThe Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda will perform during the Sunday Service at Chapel-By-The Sea on Clearwater Beach January 6 at 10:30 a.m. The choir is made up of Uganda children who have lost one or both parents to the AIDS virus. They will perform a lively and inspiring blend of native African rhythms, gospel music and ethnic dance. This is a rare opportunity to share the joy and hope of the Watoto Children's Choir as they tour the United States with their Concert of Hope. The choir has toured the United States, Canada and Great Britain since 1994, raising funds and allowing the children to experience the world outside Uganda. In addition to being in the choir, the children are cared for and educated with the hope that they will be the future leaders of Uganda.
