Backwaters to Host Chili Cook-OffBackwaters will host the 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off on January 17th. Area cooks can match their chili cooking skills with other culinary masses. The rules and entry forms are at Backwaters. It's fun, free and there is no football that weekend. After judging, onlookers can taste all the varieties of spicy chilies. Winners get prizes and plaques, but most importantly, the bragging rights to the best chili on Sand Key for another year. Backwaters is located at the south end of the Shoppes of Sand Key.
