Sarasota Native American Indian Festival SlatedRex A. Begaye, traditional Dineh (Navajo) artist and longtime Sarasota resident, will be hosting the first annual Sarasota Native American Indian Festival on January 25, 26 and 27, at Oscar Scherer State Park 1843 S. Tamiami Trail in Osprey. Traditional Native artists will be coming from all over North America representing many nations, bringing authentic jewelry, paintings, sculpture, beadwork, baskets, drums, flutes, along with drumming, dancing, flute music, storytelling, native foods and entertainment.
