Learn How to Take Command in a Boating EmergencyWhat would you do as a guest, a spouse or a child on a boat when the owner/skipper becomes ill, gets injured or falls overboard? You are now suddenly in command and it is now your job to get everyone safely back to shore. The Dunedin USCG Auxiliary Flotilla will teach you the things you need to know. This short 3-hour course is designed to familiarize the student with essential safety information so that they can assess the situation and call for help. The next course will held from 1 to 4 on January 27th in the Flotilla classroom located on the second floor, north end, of the Dunedin Marina Harbormasters building at 51 Main Street. The cost of $20 covers all materials. Call 736-1191 or 599-8837 for further information.
