Fred E. Marquis Addresses Rotary Club of Clearwater
"Judge George Greer (on left) recently hosted Fred E. Marquis, Interim Administrator of Pinellas County (on right) at a recent Rotary Club of Clearwater luncheon. Fred previously served as the P.C. Administrator for 21 years and was appointed to this interim position October 1, 2007. In appreciation for Fred's prior service, in 2000 the County Commissioners renamed the Pinellas Trail the Fred E. Marquis Pinellas Trail. Fred's discussion topics included the importance of tourism in Pinellas County and beach refurbishment. Prior to taking up the reins again as Interim Administrator, Fred and his wife, Suzanne, led missionary teams to Central America. That work is temporarily on hold while Fred conducts Pinellas County business."
