Shell Club to Hear ConservationistThe Clearwater Shell Club, Suncoast Conchologists, will host Dennis Kallenberger, spokesperson for Tampa Bay Watch at its regular February Meeting on Tuesday the 5th. It is anticipated that Kellenberger will give the Club an overview of Tampa Bay Watch's various conservation and educational programs. Tampa Bay Watch is a non-profit program dedicated to protecting and restoring the marine and wetland environments of the Tampa Bay estuary, including: sea grass planting, invasive plant removal, coastal cleanup, scallop search, etc. The club meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, corner of Rainbow Drive and Hercules in Clearwater.
