PETERSBURG - Grab your friends and get to the Great Engines of the Past event to be held February 9 and 10, Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the Pinellas Pioneer Settlement, 2900 31st Street South in St. Petersburg. See the huffin' an' chuggin power of the early contraptions. There will be fascinating and fun for grandparents, grandkids, and everyone in-between - hay rides, syrup making, cane grinding, 1920's saw mill, food and refreshments, unique machinery and equipment, antique flywheel engines and tractors, continuous exhibits and demonstrations.
