Guyla Ross said she was especially interested in his presentation as she is a former nurse. Old-time games, storytelling, traditional craft demonstrations, antique cars and live entertainment were among the other attractions that day.
The Pleasant Family performs at Heritage Village during Pinellas Folk Festival 2008 on January 26. The group, which hails from Largo, is scheduled to perform at the upcoming Florida State Fair in Tampa. Festival goers enjoyed traditional folk, gospel, country and bluegrass music as individual musicians and musical groups took the stage at various locations throughout the park.
