Clearwater Community Sailing Center Hosts Racing Championship Feb 16-18"Sailing Is For Everybody!" touts the Clearwater Community Sailing Center. This non-profit organization offers coaching and lessons for all ages by passionate professionals in a safe and fun environment. Regardless of the sailor's skill level or age, the Clearwater Community Sailing Center offers some of the most thorough, effective, and fun programs in Florida! Feb 16-18, 2008: The Center is hosting the USODA Midwinter Team Racing Championship. The results of this Regatta will determine which teams are sent to the XXII Trofeo Marco Rizzotti, Port of Venice, Italy in May 2008 - an international event! Competitors for this event are males and females ages 8 to 15. The youth will be required to enforce the racing rules of sailing in teams of four, utilizing specific practiced moves. The event begins on Saturday morning and runs through the weekend, with an expected total of more than 100 races having taken place. The CCSC welcomes spectators for the weekend event.
