
SENIOR Friendly Extravaganza! to be Held at Sarasota Bradenton Int'l Convention CenterSenior Friendly Extravaganza! is coming to Sarasota Bradenton International Convention Center, on Wed. and Thurs., Feb. 20 and 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free event features over 150 "Senior Friendly" exhibitors with information on senior services, lifestyles, health and wellness, travel and more. The Welcome Center will offer free coffee and doughnuts. There will be live entertainment both days. Singer Actor Frankie Avalon "Venus", "Beauty School Dropout" (Grease) will make a special stage appearance Wednesday and Thursday. He will meet and greet and be available to sign autographs both days. "Bandstand Boogie" a 50s, 60s Show with American Bandstand Recording Artists, Denise Looney, Magic & Balloon Art, Fritzy the "One Man Circus" will perform. SeaWorld and Busch Gardens presents three animal shows per day. Classic Car Show: Vote for the best cars of 50s and 60s! Trophies will be awarded for the winning cars on Thursday. Activities of the day include: Free health screenings, arts and crafts make-it and take-it , free bingo games, a golf swing analysis, free restaurant and product samplings, a Healthy Cooking Show and more. $1,000s in prizes and giveaways including roundtrip tickets on USA 3000 Airlines, Allegiant Airline and Amtrak tickets will be given away both days. A Senior Fun Walk at 9 a.m. kicks off the fun on Thursday 2/21.
