Pastor Charlie Martin After 37 years of ministry at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, Pastor Charlie Martin is retiring. Pastor Charlie and his wife, Stephanie, have served the Lord at Indian Rocks constantly seeking God's will, not only in their lives, but in the life of His church. Over his years of ministry in Largo, he has touched countless lives with his teaching, vision and unconditional love of this flock. He has been a man who has always stood firm on the Word of God. It is with mixed emotion that we announce Pastor Charlie's retirement. We are sad to see his time at Indian Rocks come to an end, but we are excited about the path God has set before him in the coming years. Pastor Charlie told the congregation at Indian Rocks to expect for God to do even greater things in the coming years under the direction of the new Senior Pastor, Jeff Parish. He truly believes that the best days at Indian Rocks lie ahead. Pastor Charlie and Stephanie will be greatly missed, but the love of Indian Rocks will follow them to the mountains of North Carolina. All are invited to join in celebrating Pastor Charlie and Stephanie Martin at the following events: Saturday, March 8, at the Grand 'Ole Gospel Opry at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center; and Sunday, March 9, at the Celebration Worship Service at 10 a.m. in the Worship Center.
