Letter sent to Largo Mayor and Commissioners A-Frame Signs

I have been a struggling business owner on Clearwater Largo Rd. for seven (7) years and I am usually a compliant person and never voice my opinion but when Charlie Cronk told me that I have to put my sandwich sign in every night I was really angry. What difference does it make? I am told it is verbal request at this time and not a law. It will create a hardship to drag that sign in every night and quite frankly who can remember to do it. I would rather you be focusing on getting rid of the unsightly properties and crime on this road than our sandwich signs. I don't think there is a week that goes by that the unsightly apartments next to us aren't having some fights. Is there a law on the books about how many people can live in one small apartment?

All small businesses at this time are struggling now you want to make it even harder for us. What good is your beautiful Clearwater Largo Road when there aren't any businesses left? These sandwich signs give some of us just a little bit better way of advertising or directing people to our stores. I get a lot of elderly clients who use these signs to turn on 10th Ave. to get to our shop.
