Barbershoppers Announce March 8th Concert and March 10th Guest NightIf you need a good Barbershop Harmony fix, listen up! The Florida Suncoast Barbershop Chorus has announced their annual concert,"Barbershop and Broadway", and will present two performances on Saturday, March 8th, in the James B. White Performing Arts Center, 2750 Haines-Bayshore Road, Clearwater. In addition to the well-known classic songs that will be presented by the Suncoast Chorus, the concert will feature "My Three Sons", a championship quartet that promises to razzle-dazzle the audience with their unique singing. And if that isn't enough, get ready to listen to "The Ditchfield Family Singers", possibly the most accomplished family group to come along since the Von Trapp Family Singers in the "Sound of Music". Tickets for either the 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. shows are $14 and $20, and 10 percent group discounts are available for purchases of 10 or more tickets for either show. The Suncoast Chorus Chapter has also scheduled a Guest Night for 7 p.m. on March 10th at the Chorus rehearsal hall at the Crossroads Christian Church located at 1645 Seminole Blvd., Largo. The public is welcome, and the Chorus is particularly hopeful that men who like barbershop harmony, whether they feel they can sing or not, will join in on the Guest Night fun and learn how good barbershop harmony is made.
