Francis Wilson Playhouse to Present Sweet CharityThe Francis Wilson Playhouse, 302 Seminole St, Clearwater, will present the sassy, upbeat musical, Sweet Charity from March 13th through March 16th and March 20th through March 23rd, 2008. Show times are Thursday - Saturday at 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. There will also be an 8 p.m. show on Wednesday March 19th. Even with a lucky name like Charity Hope Valentine, our heroine can't seem to find a good man to love her. Surely there's a "Big Spender" out there, a man who can make her feel as happy as a big "Brass Band". With this great story by Neil Simon, terrific music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by the legendary Dorothy Fields every audience is drawn in to Charity's dream. Gwen Verdon won awards on Broadway for her portrayal of Charity but our own local talent, Capria Pichette, will show you the best of a "Good Time" in this soon to be award winning production at The Francis Wilson Playhouse.
