The Berkeley Plantation Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century will hold its next meeting on Friday, March 14, at noon, at Stacey's Buffet in Largo. The speaker will be Barbara Branscum with a presentation on Colonial Heraldry. She is a member of several lineage societies, some tracing her ancestry back to Charlemagne. Patty Sikes, State President, will outline her state president projects and reports will be given by members who attended the State Conference recently held in Clearwater.

At the last meeting Linda Neal, Chapter vice president, presented a program on Colonial Apothecary. She displayed medical and pharmaceutical items from her own collection.

Women who are interested in historical colonial research and are lineal descendants of an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701 in one of the Original Colonies are invited to attend. For further information, call (727)-531-2100.
