Notre Dame University senior infielder and team captain Ross Brezovsky of Naples, Fla. warms up at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater prior to a game against Liberty on February 22. The two schools were facing each other in the Clearwater Baseball Invitational tournament hosted by The Winning Inning. Brezovsky is one of three players from Florida on the Notre Dame squad. The others are pitcher Wade Korpi of Lake Worth and third baseman Eddie Mendiola of Miami. Twenty-one teams from Division I to the junior college level competed in the event.
