Local Photographer's Work to be Exhibited at ChamberCLEARWATER - The Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, 1130 Cleveland St., will host a photographic exhibition by local award-winning photographer Ric Savid. Savid's black and white portraits that will be on display weekdays until June 2, are part of a larger volume of ongoing photographic work he is pursuing in the Philippines. A self-taught artist, Savid's portraiture has appeared in American Photo, Black and White Magazine and Aperture. Two of his photographs received first and second place prizes in the Prix de la Photographie competition in Paris, France, last year. The exhibition, sponsored by the city of Clearwater's Cultural Arts Division, is part of a larger effort to promote the arts and support local artists' work.
