Tournament sponsor Frank Crum Jr. and Clearwater Mayor and Master of Ceremonies Frank Hibbard BELLEAIR - Seventy thousand dollars was raised on February 25 during the 1st FrankCrum Invitational Golf Tournament held at Belleair Country Club Benefiting Trinity Café. Over 200 top business professionals from Florida and neighboring states participated. Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard golfed in the tournament and served as Masters of Ceremonies for the awards dinner. Two teams shared first place. The winning team golfing on Belleair Country Club's East Course with a scramble score of 57 were with Payroll Consultants of Brandon, Florida: Mike Martin, Steve Hartmann, Victor Sofia and Dale Johnson. The West Course winners with a score of 59 are from Thomas Financial of Tampa: Jay Kennedy, Chad Harrod, Will Cassidy and Jeff Maxwell. Funds raised from the Golf Invitational will help feed hundreds of the Tampa area's hungry, thanks to CEO of FrankCrum, Frank Crum, Jr. FrankCrum is a professional employer organization providing cost effective ways to manage human resources, employee benefits, payroll and workers' compensation to employers. FrankCrum was founded in 1981 and is a privately-held business located in Clearwater at Missouri and Cleveland Streets. Aside from FrankCrum, top corporate sponsors for the tournament included Broadspire, Wachovia, Thomas Financial, Dixon & Associates, and Hurley, Rogner, Miller, Waranch & Westcott, and Cox, among others. Crum is dedicated to Trinity Café's mission of feeding the hungry but doing so in a way that preserves the dignity of those that come to the Café for meals. Trinity Cafe was founded in 2001 and provides restaurant-quality meals in a restaurant-type setting, complete with table linens and china. The meals are presented with unconditional respect by thousands of volunteers. Just one full time employee works at Trinity Café along with executive chef, Chef Alfred Astl, a five-star culinary expert. They estimate that they've provided over 400,000 meals thus far with an average of 200 being served daily. Trinity Cafe is located at 1603 N.
