New Members Welcome

Barbara Mecklenborg, seated at left, welcomes new member Joann Watson to a recent meeting of the Belleair Garden Club as Sue Ficken looks on at back. Members of the club meet twice a month. Regular meetings, which include a special program, are held the first Wednesday of each month, October through May, at 1 p.m. Horticulture sessions are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of the month. Location is 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd. You don't have to have a green thumb, just an interest in gardening, to join the group. If interested, call 586-4021 for more information.
