Partnership for Prescription AssistanceLARGO - First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, will host the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) Help is Here Express Bus at the Indian Rocks Medical Center on the church campus Thursday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. The PPA is a nationwide program that brings together America's biopharmaceutical research companies, health care providers, patient advocacy organizations, and community groups to help qualifying patients, who lack prescription coverage, get the medicines they need through the public or private program that's right for them. The Help is Here Express Bus crisscrosses the country, stopping in hundreds of towns and cities to educate uninsured and under-insured patients about drug assistance programs and is equipped with computer terminals and mobile telephones, so patients can find out if they may be eligible for help to pay for their medicines. Please bring your identification, like a driver's license, along with your insurance card (if you have one), and know your economic income.
