Easter Egg Hunts Scheduled
CLEARWATER - Easter is early this year and Clearwater recreation centers are preparing for their annual egg hunts. Children wishing to participate should bring their own Easter basket.
- Clearwater Beach Recreation Center at Mandalay Park, 532 North Mandalay Ave., next to the Clearwater Beach Fire Station, Friday, March 21, 6 p.m. There will be several hunts for different age groups. - Countryside Recreation Center, 2640 Sabal Springs Dr., Saturday, March 22. Children will be divided into age groups: ages 3 and under from 9 to 9:15 a.m.; ages 4 to 6 - 9:30 to 9:45 a.m.; ages 7 to 9 from 10 to 10:15 a.m.; and ages 10 to 12 from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. The Easter Eggstravaganza is part of Countryside Recreation Center's Open House celebration, which continues until 1 p.m. This free event includes a moonwalk, appearance by the Easter Bunny, tours, light refreshments and carnival games.
