Pioneer Music Jamboree to be HeldST. PETERSBURG - The Pioneer Music Jamboree will be held Saturday, March 29th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair, grab your friends, and catch this event at the Pinellas Pioneer Settlement, 2900 31st Street South, St. Petersburg, featuring Clearwater Bluegrass. Get an earful of the toe-tappin' - can't sit still music of the fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, and various bluegrass and country instruments. Craft vendors will exhibit exciting sale items while local musicians entertain. Don't miss the tractor pulled hayrides exploring the back woods. Tour the oldest buildings in St. Petersburg refurbished to the early 1900's. Try your hand at log sawing and corn grinding. Take the challenge of tree climbing with ropes guided by expert instructors from Pathfinder Outdoor Education. The country kitchen is always cooking fresh samples and be sure to visit the food and refreshment area. You won't walk around hungry. Admission is: $5 adult, $1 children (under 3-years-old free).
