Calder Goc Completes Basic Cadet Training
Calder Goc, a graduate of the Marine Corps Junior ROTC program at Clearwater High School, completed Basic Cadet Training at the United States Air Force Academy, and won second in the "Miss Big Bad Basic" competition. Calder was selected as "Top Ten Basic", an honor given to 10 cadets out of the class of 1300. Calder recently competed for one of four slots on the Air Force Academy Falconry Team, and will train the mascot falcons, and travel with them to sports events. Calder is the daughter of Nicole Goc of Clearwater Beach and the late Major Zenon Goc.
