Horseshoe Tournament to be HeldCLEARWATER - World Champion Horseshoe Pitchers are coming to Clearwater to compete in the (Bill Smith Open) hosted by the home of the Clearwater Horse Club and the Bill Smith family. The tournament will be held at Ed Wright Park located at Lakeview and Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., April 5th at 9 a.m. Admission, parking and seating are free. A few of the world champions competing in this event are: Walter Ray William's Jr. from Ocala. Men's World Champion 6 times, Men's State Champion in California many times, also a professional world champion bowler. Sue Snyder from Kentucky. Women's World Champion 6 times, Women's State Champion in Kentucky and Indiana many times. Mark Seibold from Indiana. Men's World Champion 2 times, 23 times Indiana State Champion. Ron Deckard from Tampa. Current Senior Men's World Champion and 9 times Florida State Champion.
