Clearwater Club Hosts Amateur, Pro Tourneys

Main Event winners were Barbara and Gerry Kupkee, 1st place; Ron Leonard and Fred Pestke, 2nd place; Rick and Betty Lynes, 3rd place; Bruce Fawcet and Joan Nowak, 4th place. Other consolation winners were Jo Waldron and Joan Irwin, 2nd place; Clair Sutherland and Bud Pittman, 3rd place; Bruce Pimental and Gunther Forth, 4th place. Winners in the Ada Armstrong Memorial pro tourney which took place on March 27 were Geoff Bell and Richard Dawley, 1st place; Ed McGrath and Bob Bugby, 2nd place; Andre Huot and Fern LaChance, 3rd place; Mickey Henson and Bettie Merkel, 4th place. Consolation winners were Frank Hemming and Jim Norton, 1st place; Wilbert Horn and Bud Maloney, 2nd place; Bill McMillan and Nicole Huot, 3rd place; Mary Beth Heron and Joe Greenwood, 4th place.
