Open House at Morningside Recreation ComplexCLEARWATER - The public is invited to the Morningside Recreation Complex Open House on Saturday, April 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. The pool will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. and admission is free. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and talk with staff to learn about programs that are offered at the complex, which is located at 2400 Harn Blvd. Live entertainment and refreshments will be provided. "If you haven't had the chance to tour our facility, this will be the perfect day to do it," said Julie Schultz, Recreation Program Supervisor. "I hope everyone in the community will get to know us a little better on April 12." In addition to the pool, Morningside Recreation Center has a complete pottery studio, multi-purpose room for fitness, game room with pool tables, foosball, bumper pool and more. There are five outdoor tennis courts, racquetball courts, basketball courts, picnic area with grills, sand volleyball court, playground area and a covered pavilion. Rental space is available daily.
